The relentless Israeli aggression in Gaza continues unabated, claiming the lives of countless Palestinians, including women and children, every day. Over the past 24 hours, two Israeli strikes on Beit Lahia in northern Gaza and Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in Gaza City have left 88 Palestinians dead.
In Beit Lahia, most of the casualties were women and children. Dr. Hussam Abu Safia, director of Kamal Adwan Hospital, told Al Jazeera Arabic that dozens of bodies were brought to the hospital following the attack. He noted that many victims remain trapped under rubble, with no way to rescue them as Israeli forces have blockaded northern Gaza, preventing Palestinian civil defense teams from accessing the area.

Gaza’s Ministry of Health reports that since October last year, the death toll has risen to 43,985, with at least 104,092 others injured in continuous attacks. Authorities estimate over 10,000 individuals remain missing beneath the rubble of destroyed buildings across the Gaza Strip.
Despite calls for an immediate ceasefire from the UN Security Council, Israel has continued its devastating assault on the besieged territory. Following an unprecedented cross-border attack by Hamas on October 7, Israel has launched relentless air and ground offensives, targeting hospitals, schools, refugee camps, mosques, churches, and thousands of residential structures.
The aggression has displaced over 2 million residents, turning Gaza into a rubble-strewn wasteland. According to the United Nations, approximately 85% of Gaza’s population has been rendered homeless, while all face severe food insecurity and a dire shortage of clean water and medical supplies. Furthermore, around 60% of the enclave’s infrastructure has been damaged or destroyed.
As the humanitarian crisis deepens, the world watches, demanding action to end the violence and alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people.
